Unable to select 'HP Wide Vision HD Camera' as video device.

Hey,

How come the app is not able to select the camera that comes embedded into my laptop already? I was looking to get a subscription and use this application but it won't even recognise my default camera.

Any help?

Hello David,

No other application is running when i try to use my webcam with animaze. When i select my webcam the light does not even turn on, its as if the application can not turn on or access the webcam at all. Yet the webcam works with other applications. Just no with animaze.

Also, in my camera privacy settings it says that animaze has access to my webcam.

Also, Again, I did the search to see if anything else was using or blocking my camera while I have animaze open but nothing is using it, not even animaze. When I go on animaze its just a black screen for where I should be able to see myself, and everytime i select my camera it says it can not be selected, even if i change the resolution or anything, or calibrate it.

Solved this through the e-mail correspondence! It seems that the antivirus was somehow blocking the web-camera (this is for other users who might encounter a similar issue).
