The first step in investigating any crash, is always sending in the logs (details of that process are pinned in the bugs section).

I just created and switched between two new quick scenes in the live build, and the crash did not occur, so perhaps there is a particular avatar/item/prop/texture/background in one of the quick scenes that has a quirk and is causing a crash. Sending in the logs at support[@]animaze[.]us should offer more insights.
