Here's how to change the audio output and input source:
After you have installed Animaze and its afferent Virtual Microphone driver, this driver could become the default input source in Windows. Here is how to change it back:
1. Go to Sound Settings in Windows (press Windows key and type “Sound Settings”)
2. Use the drop-down list under “Output” to select your output speakers
3. Use the drop-down list under “Input” to select your input source (actual microphone).
While I was able to get my sound setting back to what it was, It frankly took far to long to find and correct. I'd like the couple hours of my life back. God help someone who doesn't know how to do the changes.
I have uninstalled Animaze, Until it gets more user friendly it will remain off my computer.
I've tried this, but it did not fix issues with sound recording. I can not hear a sound either in voice setup or in the record itself!
-To get them go to where you installed Steam, for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Animaze\Data\Animaze.log
Remember that log files get rewritten each time the app is opened, so in order to get the correct files do not restart the app until you've saved the logs.
-Also important are the DxDiag files, to get them use the hotkey: Win+R → enter "dxdiag" --> press "OK" --> press "Save"
