How to Load Workshop Liveries in CBM Paint Shop?
Hi all,

I don't see this question elsewhere on the forum so hopefully I'm not duplicating.

I've subscribed to hundreds of bus models and liveries on the Workshop. The bus models seem to come through automatically but I cannot understand how to get the liveries I have subscribed to in the Steam Workshop to turn up in the in game Paint Shop. I've seen we can't, as of yet, load directly from Steam Workshop (even though the option is there in the Paint Shop) so what's the work around?

I've seen the bus modding instructions regarding needing unity and gimp, etc. but do I need these additional programmes so I can load the .png livery files into CBM?

Been watching content creators and they all seem to be making their own or have it sussed as to how to take others work and import, via .png, into their game so I'm none the wiser from there.

What am I missing/need to understand? Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

From the paintshop you should be able to load the PNG file and then apply it.

Checkout the following thread, there is some good info on that, plus a link to one of the repaint guides.

Cheers,
Chris.

Many thanks for replying.

So re-reading that linked guide again - I need to save a blank export of a bus livery I've made in CBM, then use a paint/gimp/photoshop programme to copy and paste the .REPAINT file into and then (assuming that does copy the Workshop livery I've subscribed to into the art programme) I need to save that as a .png file to import it back into CBM via the Paint Shop?

And I need to do that for every livery I have subscribed to individually? Crikey!
