Type of bus on each line

Is it possible to choose a certain bus for a certain line? For example, can I use the articulated busses for a busier line? It seems like the busses get placed randomly on each line

yeah once you unlocked the planner you can assign staff and bus's to a schedule per route and copy it to everyday

It would be best to be able to store the bus type in the line. Then you can automatically generate the shift plan and certain buses are only on certain lines and not as it just fits.
