I'm relatively new to the game, but I am currently aiming to have about 75% to 85% of this number in drivers.
In my setup, most of my routes will need two "main" shifts per day, not counting the extra busses at rush hour. If these were all I was covering, then I would need one driver per shift if I didn't want them working overtime. Those extra, shorter, rush hour trips complicate matters, which is why I'm aiming at 75 to 85%.
So for every 100 bus you should only need 120 drivers
Equally, you then need about 25 mechanics and 25 cleaners, as this is about 25% of requirement
Note though as you add extra depots this changes
