In theory, if one had a route that ran the full length of a commercial (POI) street, but had few residential buildings. And if one also had a route that was heavily residential buildings, then you could gather up people from residential and take them to one of the stops on the commercial route and they would transfer.
I have no idea if that works, if bus riders transfer routes, how many times they might transfer routes, is there a time limit .. no one has answered any of those questions.
Also, IF people transfer routes .. does a bus need to go from a stop on one route and connect to a stop on the other route .. OR .. do the two stops just need to be inside each other's circle of influence?
I may be wrong, but from observation, I don't think passengers can switch between routes yet, which is a shame, hopefully that's something they'll decide to implement if they haven't.
@jhughes I honestly can't answer that, I haven't looked into the game that much as of yet
Cheers
