Wish I had seen this before. I've done my own search but only with windows defender. Still, it showed up negative. Either way, what are some ways to make absolutely certain that any potential malware is removed?
Unfortunately pretty typical with most anti-cheats in fps games etc. We are working to make sure this doesn't flag up as we go.
That said, if we had anything bad, steam would have already kicked us off the platform! Again sorry that this stuff scares folks and rightfully so.
To add an exception to your Anti Virus (for Windows Defender) follow these steps and you'll be able to play the game!
Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions. Select Add an exclusion, and then select Boundary from the steam directory.
