What to do about the falling through the ground?
So today I was bringing 3 colonists back to the colony when we fell through the world, we all fell like 10 meters so we were all low on health, you can't use the flashlight when you're behind the world (so to speak) and I had nothing to mine to get out.

It's happened before that I was just walking along and fell through the world or walked through the ground but then I could always get back by mining or just walking backwards.

Is there like an unstuck or something?

The only way is to save and exit, that if the fall doesn't kill you which happened to me quite a few times already... if you fall and can't see anything or put torches, save and exit and then you can see and mine your way up again, but yeah, this is getting annoying

btw if you alt-f4 the game intercepts the command and saves your game before exiting. if you wanna exit without save you pretty much have to just pause the game, alt-tab then use task manager to end task or just crash to desktop randomly lol

If I have a section that's gone corrupt, hopefully not my base which I back up the adata/igloosoft/Farworld Pioneers folder constantly, I go to the section that's bad, save and exit the game entirely. After making a backup, I locate the region files for my game and look for the most recent ones that show the time I saved. I then delete that file, load game up and look to see if ground is now whole, meaning that section has reset. If it's still buggy, exit out of game, copy the file back you deleted, and try the next one. They are easy to find since the game only saves data for the area your at, so you only have a few files with recent times to try out. This is also a great way to fix a corrupted base, as long as you make plenty of backups.

Can we agree that this method is way too much to do for the average player? Most people would rather have a fix than going through such loops.
