Just a heads up for anyone thinking of purchasing. The game works fine, but you will need to add backspace and return to your control configuration. They wont work fromthe on screen keyboard causing you to get stuck when entering character names.

I added a backspace and enter to my controls, And it worked to input my main name, but trying to create a character, it just stopped recognizing the letters input via the steam keyboard, even after closing it, backing up in the character creation process and trying again.

So, just a bit finicky in a way that may stop you from making characters, but once you have your party probably no problem.

I just had a go and i was able roll and name a character ok. Maybe the updates valve have made to the on screen keyboard have helped.

Yup, sometimes the on-screen keyboard just stops working and you need to close and reopen the game for it to get unstuck. The easiest option is to just quit after every character you create to save, since you only ever need the keyboard to input character names.

Not quite, some in-game puzzles have the same problem

Yes,the game requires keyboard input for riddles. sometimes the game will just not recognize any input from steamdeck kbd. in those times when the game is being stubborn, i use cross-save and solve the riddle on pc, then cross-save back to steamdeck.
