I am quite confident that I got most if not all hidden stuff found , but if someone found some hidden treasures that I did not - let me know :)
SoSCR certainly was harder to find hidden stuff in when compared to SoSW. Not 100% confident in hiding points either, but should have majority of them in.
Great work by the way.
And there is only one tricky way to print this out:
1) Use google chrome - that's the only browser I can confirm 100% this works on.
But quite certain with CTRL+P it works on any other browser too, just unconfirmed.
2) At the end of guide link add ?single=1 - this causes the guide to be one huge page containing all sections.
3) Right click anywhere on the page and select 'print'(or CTRL+P)
4) If you don't want to 'physically' print - select 'Microsoft Print to PDF in the printer option. This will cause the page to get downloaded as PDF file instead.
Just be aware the guide is designed for gamefaqs format where you can easily swap between sub sections and sometimes I send you to an earlier/later subsection. At least in some of the crawler games where it's needed.
And needless to mention that format won't be perfect either as sub sections is what I use as 'comfy' section swap.
Not having any key words to see where sub section starts will be a bit confusing.
You can obviously skip the step 1 and simply print page by page separately too, which is another way to do it but that will be loads of files and take more time.
i remember you from Undernauts and i've used your guide there as well
i'm reading your sosc guide and in your section about character creation, you said "game does not limit you to certain things at all - you are free to level all classes at same time and combine your character into a machine of destruction"
now, i'm a bit confused as i have played the original sosc for 300 hours and in that one, it limits you to 6 classes (per new game cycle, you can change 5 more times in Ng+)
but in this version, the character profile only shows 5 slots, so does that mean i can only switch classes 4 times?
i also read that there is no new game plus in this version.
but then, when Riu introduces the player to job changing, she says "you can change as many times as you want, as long as you have the money for it", and urges you to try it immediately. . but then i've seen posts on the gamefaqs boards saying you can only change 4 times.
so, which is it? 4 times, or unlimited?
i'm already 30 hours in to this version and i planned my builds on the assumption i can only change 4 times total
edit : never mind, i just tested it in my game, i saved it first and just tried to do 8 class changes (all i had the money for) and yes, it does let you do it as many times as you want, not limited to 4.
the slots on the profile just show the most recent 5 classes.
That's why the weird UI design I assume. But yeah, everything that I write in the guide is something I test generally.
If I didn't/couldn't test something - I always add 'maybe' or something similar to mark that something is assumption/not tested.
yeah, your guide looks accurate.
i read a different guide from a different website that had some bad info in it, like saying to make the main character a Ney, which is impossible, since the protagonist has to be a human.
and their recommended character builds seemed weird and they didn't explain why.
Such people often play an hour or two, write whatever comes to mind and that's it. That's mostly their job which they get money for.
I am only making guides when I enjoy the game(or at least genre, as it's usually better to start making guide ASAP as this way it's easier to say what questions might pop up from people) and it has no good guide by someone else :)
Thanks very much
in mausoleum of ice, in the northern part, there's a puzzle with lithograph's and they both say "take a walk to the past" and i figured out one of them but not the other and thanks to your guide, i was able to do it.
the problem is one of them is supposed to say "walk to the past" and the other one should say "walk to the future", but in my game, they both said "walk to the past" and i never would have figured it out without the guide because of that.
