I think the chance for on hit effects is random, my drops had none. But you can pair it with Hourglass of Flux (last item from utlimate trial to dual wield them). Honestly if you get the item early by luck, use it, anything after that is just overkill.
No need to equip that accessory to dual wield them. Arms Carnage will let you dual wield non-ranged 2-handed weapons.
Does it need to be a specific enemy in battle to have a chance of it drop?
I'm already trying it for 4 days and I just nerd it to get all Sapphire achievements :/
No, it is just a really rare drop in the Locus of the Gods and 3F of the City of the Dead. The last few fights of Locus seems to have the highest chances of dropping Grand Muramasa, Muramasa, Valkyrius and Drancaliber, but all fights in the Locus and the Traps on the 3F of CotD have a slim chance of dropping them.
I had a similar amount of difficulty getting Grand to drop so don't give up. It is a luck based mission as the achievement description notes.
Getting it is meant to be part of the final round of challenges, as opposed to actually using it. Team Muramasa, hiding multiple Muramasa in all of their games...it's bragging rights. Kinda fun tho!
