If I had to do it though, I'd imagine going back to somewhere that has guaranteed fights would be ideal, either Locus of God or Castle of the Dead come to mind as having a lot of fixed encounters.
My grinding map is the Castle of the Dead, but I don't get any bonding points from fighting at all any more. It's primarily from food which doesn't give me much either. So technically I'm not really grinding fights, I'm running around so my eat slots can fill up again.
Yeah I agree completely. I beat the game and postgame, and I thought it'd be interesting to see all the rank 10 events. I have all the fanciest S-rank favorite foods for each characters too. But it's tiring walking ~100-200 steps to eat 3 meals, it barely increases the meter at all and then I have to walk again to eat more meals, I can't even get to rank 8 without it taking like 3 hours per character. If you find out any tricks to quickly raise it let me know.
