Custom character portraits

So one element of SoSC on PC that I really enjoyed was the freedom to use your own portraits for the characters you create. Will that still be possible in the remake and in Saviors?

I really hope it's still in. It's weird how much more fun it is to play games like this when you go that extra mile in customizing every character in your party.

There appears to be no option to add custom portraits in Stranger of Sword City: Revisited.

Yeah, customizing portraits is part of a future update, though. It's in one of the pinned posts in here.

Ahhhh! Disapointing it's not there, but looking forward to when it gets added. I guess I can try the other game until the custom portraits are added to SoSC. Do you have any estimate as to how long it will take for the update?

Disappointed that it's not initially there for Stranger of Sword City Revisited. However, I do like that you guys finally acknowledge it!

Unfortunate to need to wait for it, but I'm glad that it's happening. I guess I can just play SoSW in the mean time. :)

Didn't the original require you to do everything outside of the game? The way the pinned post talks about uploading an image makes me wonder if they're integrating it into the game this time.

Probably just making a program to auto-resize and/or crop your images and plop them into the folder rather than the other way which was to edit them yourself and then go into Options to get it to acknowledge the files.
