Also release date was revealed: 16th March 2021. The first dungeon RPG release of 2021!
Then again, I completed the original twice on NG+ and got 100% achievements. o.o
3 new dungeon is good. its pretty challenging.
overal the revisited version is better in every aspect except that revisited gives monsters the ability to curse your equipment. cursed weapon = 0 damage, the same with armors so beware when fighting against those monsters
though i have to say that you should create a new thread rather than necroing old post
My issue with the original game was that, it basically boiled down the major fights to a single debuff/buff strat. Is this the case with revisited too? It's not that I mind much but if the same "solution" applies to the sequel my interest will be smaller.
And just to emphasize, a simple "yes/no" answer is good enough. I know combat is basically the only reason to play these games and I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
as long as you have 6 party member alive, i dont think its a problem tho. but yeah it's kinda annoying. this curse thingy is the only thing i hate in the game. that thing is the only reason why i dont want to play revisited again.
i'll buy this game for savior of sapphire wings. hope the price is reasonable enough for it
- Glad to know the 3 new dungeons are good.
- I read the 3 new classes are not really useful, though. Do you agree?
- Can you please tell me if there are ways to remove Curse in Strangers Revisited? Are they cheap, expensive, rare, common..? Can you remove curse outside of battle?
"Buff / Debuff limit setting?"
if buffs stacks only X times, it could massively improve the game imho.
That sounds like it addresses my concern! My buddy kept telling me how he kept stacking aim/avoid buff to absurdity (then again he also used cheats to kill the post-game content so LOL).
one of the class named clocker and it's extremely useful, i say this class is a must have, atleast every character should class change clocker once to get clock up skills(lv 1 clocker skill). that skill allow you to Performs a chosen action once more in a turn but unable to use all skills on the next turn. also clocker last skill 'overclock' allow you to act twice in a turn(but not all skills compatible with this, still it's super strong).
puppeteer is strong for niche party setup. basically this class role is to manipulate formations. monster in back row can be move to front row, etc.
freeman is utility class. their role is benchwarmer. their skills increase money you gain from battles. you dont even need to put them in the party for their skills to work.
there is an item to remedy cursed status, fortunately item vendor got plenty of those enough to clear all labyrinths.
sorry for my bad english
