Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder

Is the limping still in this game?
The original GR and GR:DS had a feature where, if a soldier took a hit to the leg and survived, he would be hobbled. He could still walk but had to move very slowly. Had some tense and exciting game play trying to get my team to the extraction point while guarding and keeping our limping team member alive and with us.

Then, when GR:IT came out, the devs had removed that. Leg wounds had no effect on movment. Because it was an expansion, this affecte all three games and you lost limping in all of them. GR lovers complained so much they had to release a patch that added limping back in.

So, does this version have limping for leg wounds or not?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge here, grey0103! Though this thread is from 2017, I hope your reply will help someone. :)

Bill the Galactic Hero, if you ended up picking up this Steam version of Island Thunder, how did you find the wound mechanics? Were they as satisfying as you remember them being in the original Ghost Recon and Desert Siege?

Bit-off Topic but any chance of the Sum of all fear (Since it uses Ghost Recon 1's engine) being buyable in more countries on Steam? I'm from the UK but am unable to purchase it on steam.

Hey there SmazySamshy. please accept my sincere apologies for not catching your reply to this thread sooner.

Regarding your query, I'm afraid we at Ubisoft Support cannot control or influence the Steam Store, however I'm happy to pass forward your feedback that you would like to see The Sum of All Fears sold on here in more regions.

No problem, passing that on is enough.
