Game hangs when clicking collectibles

After the update came out, my game hangs (and I need to force close it) when I try to pick up more than one collectible. It happened when I copied my old save file over, so I renamed the save folder to get a fresh save and it still happens.
Reproduction Steps:

1. Start New Game
   
2. Click collectible in Act 1 Level 0
   
3. Click any collectible in Act 1 Level 1

After the crash I continued playing and was able to click one of the collectibles in Act 1 Level 1 successfully, but the second caused another hang.
