Game stuck after clicking collectables

Hey there,

i just bought the game recently and really like it... although i'm still in Act 1 since i can't continue after clicking on collectables:

The game seems to get unresponsive, i can't move the camera, can't use cards and can't quit out of the game except for Alt+F4 since ESC does not work either.
The only things working are the buttons on the screen (topview, retry, rewind)

Is there any fix for this? I really want to play this :(
