Getting rid of skewed ideas so I can use rare insight..?

I've got about 150 skewed ideas and about 250 rare insights...the rare insights don't seem usable as long as I have ANY skewed ideas, however the only option I can find is to use 'skewed' in Rare insights...but, I take a MAJOR hit when I do so [especially to personal security and auspicious moments]...is there another way of getting rid of all these skewed ideas??

I only have 2 auspicious moments left [which seem very rare] and lvl 24 personal security, that I've worked hard to raise, so spamming 'skewed' doesn't seem like much of an option.

Best way is to avoid them stacking so high. Though diary can help get them down some, as well as shifting them with rare insights. Its a pain to deal with when you let them get out of control. Just move a few a day to manage the menaces. Good Luck!

Ouch...this is REALLY gonna hurt then, Dealing with BS in Diary only takes it down by 1, same as 'shift' with rare insight, with its extremely harsh hit to personal security etc.

I guess its my own fault, I didn't realize they were such a negative hit and it wasn't clear what the ramifications were. I was using 'Open your mind" whenever I got a No Control card to decrease minor negative effects.

There is also an option on detailed plans, that uses 1 skewed idea, and 4 detailed plans "thinking crooked' near the bottom. Im not sure what i does tho.

How did you get so many skewed ideas? I'd like some to remove diary pages, but i never seem to generate them.

I never get any detailed plans, I've only had 1-2 the whole game so far. I was using 'Open your mind" whenever I got a No Control card, to decrease minor negative effects, they add up fast...

You can make detailed plans on demand with hard facts. I generally get them with trusted sidekicks / watcher temperment though

As I understood it, Skewed Ideas are something like conspiracy theories or invasive thoughts. They are delusions, paranoid theories, weird prejudices, or sort of phobias that you can develop if you let you mind run amok, concentrating on negative experiences, thinking in circles, and rationalizing bad ♥♥♥♥. Sort of weird ideas people get if they don't leave their house for 10 years.

I also didn't understand what they were at all (certainly not intuitive), and noticed unpleasant effects even when they were at 1 (they get in the way of thinking clearly). All that is to say, my sympathies, ouch, 150 is a lot!

I've cleared all my skewed ideas, yay , new question...is there a way to create a skewed idea or do i need to wait for the right card?

Good job, though I don't know if remember all the ways to obtain them. You with having stacked them so high previously, might know better ways to obtain them.

The 'Poor Concentration' mutation occasionally generates them.
