When I try to join, it just says it's opening the Discord app, then opens a blank channel.

Are you able to select other channels from there? If not, you might want to try the link again (or try opening it from the discord app - for example by pasting the link in a random channel and clicking on it)

Tells me I've been invited to join. When I click, it says "unable to accept invite."

That sounds like some kind of Discord problem, although other people are using that link fine. Try this one instead:

Thanks but that wasn't the issue. I eventually realized I had somehow created a second account and once I logged out then back in with the correct account, I was able to accept the invite. Weird but at least I was able to fix it.

Want to chime in that, although the game is already fantastic, the Discord server makes it shine. I've been playing something like 4 years and didn't really get hyped up about it until I joined and started sharing stories and tips with people.

There's an X feed that has fun little half-paragraph stories with art that helps you get in the vibe for the game, as well.

I'll note to people who are interested in the Discord that there's a couple of codes in there that can be very useful...
