The campaign is quite lengthy as it is, especially for a beat 'em up game. They can't just "add" more content; it'd take a lot of work for uncertain financial gain for a title that's several years old and has a niche audience left. I'm sure the team is focused on something more productive by this point; they aren't going to make a multi-year commitment to a DLC that's as large as the base game.
Okay, your not 100% true, but it's clear you don't understand the Idea.
This is what I believe my Ideas and wishlist from us fans.
My Ideas fit perfectly with the the game, because they either exist in older consoles or they are relative to the TMNT world.
I believe one more DLC adding 4 different stages could have made the cut.
A under water level, a nostalgic reminder from the past. I'm not saying to change the style of the game but add a 3D 16bit stage that reflects the time period driving the Turtle Van. Out of nostalgia. A little more variety and depth. Who wouldn't want to drive the Turtle Van. (One of the best toys the franchise ever made).
And the Chapter 2 DLC I was referring to doesn't have to be as long as the first.
It could be the 6 I mentioned and 4 related to are newer characters.
Your argument is irrelevant.
I think it mean "final for now", no ?
But I totally doubt too they're still making stuff for the game, what the point of adding more and more characters ?
For me you can't expect something more in a BTU than the survival mode from last year, radical reptiles was a total surprise.
Dude lol, Just check Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita's Rewind, classic BTU and there IS 'shooting stage' like in the StarWing game from snes.
Exactly with so many characters.
I believe that the the game should Go out with a Bang, either with a small story DLC, adding 6 new stages expending the existing story or with a chapter 2 DLC of another 10-16 stages, related to the newer characters as well and paying homage to old games and consoles by adding that 3D 16bit touch to it.
A) Ideas for a Small DLC Expansion Stage Pack:
1. Under Water Sewer stage, Deactivating Bombs on a Timer.
2. Roof Top Night Stealth Ninja Mission, In the Shadows Not to be seen, goul to retrieve Foot plans.
3. Rescue Missions, Saving April, Splinter and Civilians.
4. 3D Driving the Turtle Van Mission.
5. 3D Skateboard Sewer Stage, Driving Off the Foot Away from Base.
6. 3D Running/Escaping Survival Mission, Escaping a Falling Building, a Base of the Foot that we Brought Down.
B) For a Chapter 2 DLC Pack with a New Story, Adding the above and adding more Specific Stage's Related to our Newer Characters as well.
Bringing back that nostalgia with are favourite Ninja Turtle Heroes. (Plus even the Lion King, a 2D game on SNES had a 3D running/escaping stage back in the day's as did Toy Story, Donkey Kong and so much more).
Eh, you're no doubt arguing in good faith, but these suggestions are silly. "6 new stages" for story mode would not be a "small" DLC by any stretch of imagination. "10-16 stages" including "3D stages" is not a DLC but a full game; it'd be a multi-year commitment.
Neither is going to happen. Any resources spent on DLC for a game that's soon 3 years old won't be available for the development of a brand new game.
Omg. You're playing with words.
I'm clear in my messages.
Like I said. Either a small expansion or a chapter 2 with a new Story.
Now you say 6 is not small. Okay I'm not the one to say if it's small or big. It's not my job.
I as a fan, say that 16 stages feels like something is missing and believe that there is room for expansion and improvement.
Just because it's 3 years old does NOT mean they can't expand on it.
Focus on the woods not the tree.
Probably they are done.
I just wish they went the extra mile.
The levels would be different.
Not the same 2D scroll.
Giving it more depth and nostalgia.
Everyone wants to drive the Turtle Van.
