I hate SOR4 for a number of reasons. I think it's not a real SOR sequel and not good beat em up in general. But regardless of my opinion, it was licensed while Juro Iwari and Toshihiro Nagoshi still held their positions in the company, in case you don't know those two were the last of the old guard at sega.
Now there is no competent people left in Sega of Japan management. Company is done for.

word. golden axe was cool, but simpsons, avengers, and xmen were all great licensed arcade beat em ups that could really use this treatment.

golden axe is awesome. but i'd kinda like a modern remake, like what they did with gauntlet.

i was assuming the author want dotemu to make Golden Axe since it's in turtle's forum. Judging by by what happen to SoR I think dotemu is not that good either. The existence of Blaze pantsu is probably thanks to some people fighting really really hard to prevent it from being removed (maybe a small number but high ranking people in dotemu or some influential people from sega). The new enemies and character in sor4 looks like something that pro censorship crowd's will like & i'm guessing they're the majority in dotemu.

if it only involve sega, the problem is the american branch, they're filled with pro censorship crowd., the translation will be in danger as well
