5 afk griefers have ruined online games today
This game needs a 1 minute afk autokick. ♥♥♥♥ is annoying.

How? Is there a special button?

You should be a host, that's pretty obvious. And you will have an option anytime you go in your party members menu - either when you're selecting your character to play, or in between stages, or during the game press start and see your party list. This button is usually *Y* on controller (not sure about keyboard tho).

You go through your party list and at the right bottom you'll see buttons: A for Kick and B for getting out of the menu.

I prefer CPU teammates instead, no lag and never wait for a 6 player coop... Hope it gets added

Hmm. Guest the hosts weren't aware of it then.

i hosted a game yesterday, and we did 4 levels in a row, i needed a bathroom break so i left it in the level select screen, took maybe 5 minuttes for me to get back, once i got back people had left.

i think there should be a sign you can set up as a host that says (BRB) or (BREAK TIME) and for joined players (Break Please?), just like a small communication, cause people today can be so impatient when playing games.

EDIT: or maybe just a break room that you can go into and ofc if host goes in there, everyone goes in there. that way the game can continue while you are in the break room and you can exit the break room and get straight back into the game, without losing your spot.

host can always kick people who are hanging out too long in break room.

Depends
Toni 'Bō' Jones Jun 19, 2022 @ 2:16am
Honestly, it depends on the people. I've most fun with online strangers and had similar scenario with bathroom break as some Gargoyled_Drake mentioned above - I tried my best and quickest, but it still took time ofc. I wasn't the host so I was expecting to come and see myself being kicked out, but to my amazement all the party were waiting for me - as you can tell unless it's a scrolling moving stage like Panic in the Sky for instance, you cannot move forward unless everyone will. We had a blast and I beat the entire game with the host, while different people were leaving/joining through the stages. Online is a blast if done right and without glitches (unfortunately those need to be fixed, with invisible players and all).

But I agree on having some text chat at least or maybe some icons to choose, showing 5 min break or something. Would be quite handy.

No, the right thing would be to just quit and respect people's time instead.

The host could always kicked me - it's literally on the team up screen. And I was't going on a lunch break, just a couple of minutes. my point was to show that there are awesome people online who can wait a bit. As Is aid, we had an amazing session.

It's a different thing if you have people *constantly* holding you up, just standing and doing nothing, but again, they might have had tech issues.

Not all people know about that feature. You deciding to hold up people because you can't play is just selfish. I don't really get why you think otherwise.
Toni 'Bō' Jones Jun 19, 2022 @ 2:36am
Because I enjoyed my team and wanted to continue playing with them? And also really needed to use bathroom, but also knowing it wouldn't take more than couple of mins. Is is selfish? Perhaps. Did we all survived and had awesome time? Yes. Everybody were free to leave anyway but they decided to stay, so maybe they enjoyed that too? And as Is aid, we went through entire game together and it's not like I was constantly afk. We actually waited for another dude too - not sure what was his/her reason, but we were fine.
We're all humans.

But now you know, at the very least, so you can kick all the 'selfish' out and enjoy your time, right?
