Does "New Game" wipe all your progress?

In Story Mode, what happens if you select "New Game" instead of Continue? Are all your unlocks reset? Specifically, what happens to the individual character levels (I have them at varying levels from 1 to 10), unlocked episodes, challenges and collectibles?

You keep your character progress and Casey unlocked but everything else resets.

Game will ask you if you want to keep upgrades or delete them after you click New Game. Just read carefully, I use Xbox controller so it's "B" to Keep upgrades and "A" to delete them

Good to know that it keeps your character progress. In that case, it's interesting that they reset the challenges and collectibles, because they give XP that you use to level up. So theoretically you can keep starting a new game and farm those specific challenges/collectibles to level up?

no, you just need to play level 16 with whoever.

That's what I'm thinking, I'm still working on clearing the game after changing difficulty but I imagine you can keep farming points that way.

For the question the other person asked, it shows 7 on the achievement screen so Casey is needed for the final one.

@SkullTrauma: No. I completed lvl 16 in multiplayer and watched Splinters ending without getting achievment.

can anyone clarify if this resets achievement progress specifically? I understand i can keep the current power levels with new game but lets say I have a character maxed to 10 already, then I start a new game at higher difficulty, does that already maxed character count towards the achievement or is it locked out unless I reset and level them all to 10 under that new game?

I restarted with a new game and Casey is not in the character list...

Yes it does!!! After you beat the game you need to keep that and just replay the levels you want. Don't start a new game, it wipes everything!!!

Only if you choose to lose it. You can also keep your progress if you choose to. Those are the two options to keep or erase your progress.

I restarted with a new game and Casey is not in the character list...

For me, his is only on the list of the difficulty level where I finished the game.
