There's games where the PC version mouse and keyboard controls are superior to console controller (aiming), but the developers forgot to include the walk feature so you can only run everywhere and it looks and feels derpy (like in the game Sunset Overdrive).
I wouldn't said dead, prices are going crazy because "quite a lot" of people search some but yeah, it's a niche audience after all.
It's not really as supporting arcade cabinets, it's supporting two players on a single keyboard (a thing most games do without any problems since decades, but as they already got problem with basic inputs, seems normal they didn't do it. Not to mention Streets of Rage 4 as the same "problem" and is from the same studio).
It's not a big deal anyway, there are a lot other good beat'em up on Steam which support this feature, so it's not the end of the world (arcade already have Turtles games since decaces anyway).
Wish ones? Because for me, aside from sor4 and this one everything is garbage (can't talk about final vendetta though).
Pressing the left thumbstick slightly to simulate walking. It just pushes up etc. 100% full speed (running).
