Definitely going to add the standard vibrance, gamma contrast, sharpening and bloom. Then play around with scanlines.
No one seems to have done that so it must not be possible.
Would make it easy for a lot of retro games and indie games.
In my case I actually have a CRT display and a HDMI to composite converter for it; but games on PC never fit an old CRT aspect ratio well.
....but then again...I might not need/want it...but options are nice to have.
It's not "ruining" the pixels, it's enhancing the mood and nostalgia. Not to mention pixel games look far better with a good CRT filter.
Actually, there is a CRT overlay, but the effect isn't nearly as good as the RetroArch shaders. It's called "SuperCRT".

A good CRT filter only enhances and improves the visuals, and smooths out jaggies. If you could see this running on a old school crt monitor you would understand , anyone know what API this game is using?
While i do agree that it would be nice, it certainly isn't necessary
I didn't even know that existed, the game looks great with a light crt filter (i use nes mini), you're the hero of the day.
Filters look amazing. Problem bring 4K really makes it hard for filters to do their job. The pixels are blown up to such high-resolution that I find myself reaching for my 1080p set to play these games instead of my 55 inch C1.
