Is it fun to play solo?
I heard that it's meant to be played co-op and I was wondering if it's worth buying if I'm gonna play solo. Thanks in advance!

It all depends of your personal goal with the game

If you just want to play casually and expect it to keep you engaged in single player, then no, because you'll probably beat it once or twice, then forget about it and won't get your money's worth

If your goal is to improve your skills and do some personal challenges, like beating the game on highest possible difficulty 1CC or without losing a single life and aiming for highscores in survival, then yes

I bought it on Switch, and I just bought it again on Steam on Sale. I have only ever played it solo, and I liked it enough to buy it a second time.

If you like beat-em-ups and/or TMNT, you will love this game.

Just don't try to 100% the game, or you will hate it. Rather than having fair challenges (like 1 CCing a mission), they have a challenge to beat the mission without taking a single hit, which is extremely unfair.

This game is great solo but truly amazing with friends or even randoms. One of the best games I have bought in years and the DLC is an improvement.
