Personally, I love the pixel art graphics. It gives the game a very appropriate retro look; and now with oldschool screen filter options, we can complete the look!
That would require a total reworking of the game.
You're talking about changing the entire animation dynamic to something more akin to 3D cel-shaded, if you're meaning what I think you mean.
The "Sharp edged" look is more of a tribute games hallmark.
This IS the company that made Scott Pilgrim Vs the World and Mercenary kings after all, so 2D is more of their wheelhouse.
But it's also a bit of an odd request.
What about these models do you NOT find quality?
I'm kinda curious.
I'd like the game to look like the cartoon intro. So that i feel like i'm in the cartoon rather than playing a game of the cartoon if you get what i mean. I don't have an issue with the quality of the pixel art at all, i'm just not a fan of jaggies. intentional or otherwise.
