Only Gripe (I'm sorry in advance)
I don't want to come across as ungrateful as a lot of love was obviously put into Shredder's Revenge. I think this game turned out to be very good and it's great to have the original voice cast reprising their roles but I'm still waiting for a TMNT beat'em up that faithfully uses the Fred Wolf animation designs from the cartoon.

The art in this game is very anime inspired but it's not faithful to the 80's cartoon, not even faithful to the first season. I guess after seeing that He-Man fan game in openBOR I was kind of hoping they'd do that with TMNT:

Tribute used their trademark art style that they are known for since the Scott Pilgrm VS the world beat em up game.

The art style is weakest part for me, the idea of this game is great but, somehow at least for me the "Scott Pilgrim" art style looks to stylized, wish they would have went with real world proportions (while keeping it animated) or to appeal to more audiences a option to switch between the original arcade art style and their own art design.

The examples with the openBOR look extremely unappealing and lifeless. Even back then in the cartoons, the characters had no character cept for what the voice actors provided.

The only character that looks "anime" is April. I have no problems with the art style in this game. It has plenty of character. Each one has different poses, walk cycles, and attacks.
TMNT: TIT was guilty of copy and pasting the same turtle and swapping the color and weapons. I really do feel this game is much better, except of course, for the sound effects.

It took a long time to de-throne TIT to second place. SR wouldn't have done it with same exact art style as the 80's cartoon.

It doesn't fit TMNT. It feels like a missed opportunity.

Now if they had used THAT for Shredder's Revenge but with more animation. :steamthis:

It's good the way it is; reminds of the original cartoon but without being an exact replica. (The original was pretty low quality anyway.)

This looks abhorrent.

Some more frames of animation, not having the music on a loop, apart from that perfect.

Pst OP. Dont get into the habit of apologizing for your actions especially when an apology isnt necessary. "Thanks for your patience" works just as well with a stubborn or salty audience, and comes off as less weak. Its a video game forum. Ask your question and be as grateful or ungrateful as you'd like, without apology : )

Goodluck to you, just some friendly advice from Uncle Moist. I got this advice myself from a prior boss who I'll never forget, she's now retired and gave great advice. I miss her.

Just trying to be polite. I'm well aware how much effort went into Shredder's Revenge but I see a missed opportunity somewhat for something better.
