Combat gameplay?
I'm quite disappointed from the combat gameplay compared to Street or Rage 4
While I love replayin SoR4 for perfect stage. It's not the case with TMNT

SoR 4 is based on stunlock and defensive super. outside of the hitbox of the knife guy, everything is amazing in this game.

In TMNT, ennemies hitting fast from outside the screen is a poor mechanic, airborne ennemies is also a poor mechanic due to not obvious line placement. ennemies pattern is not so great (not strong enough to force you to change your placement)

It does need a Block/Parry/Reversal system as there is far too many cheap hits from enemies.

Refunded , flashy graphic and music, nothing more so far.
TMNT has no start to Mayhem Brawler or Streets of Rage

You don't need to worry about any of that. Just spam taunt and supers. The aoe will handle everything. Use air super against bosses since it does way more damage. That egregious oversight has made all other combat mechanics pointless to have developed. Makes for a fun one and done but kills any repeatability in multiplayer (avoiding using it just means you're the only one not really killing anything).

Now if they do finally patch that taunt filling up the super BS, know that like the arcade games, enemies have wakeup invincibility so when you knock them down since there's no OTG mechanics (shame) just back away (very easy to do with back dodge) and let them suffer your next juggle combo after they whiff.

taunt is a joke and is a symptom of the dev not caring much about balancing.
I'm ok to back off to avoid a hit. but ennemies attacks are not always announced/predictable. I've seen the ennemies throwing close kicks far away from the player and not on the same line. Not a single chance to hit. But it makes random the risk to use the dash to attack...
