Ngl I think The Room is the best among Myst style games though
https://store.steampowered.com/app/454250/The_Eyes_of_Ara/
I've bought it, but couldn't play it because of too brown-gray and overall bland colors that it has, while The Room and Myst series (except Riven) have more sharp and vivid colors.
But someone could like this game, so here's the post.
I will check out, what never was and the rusty lake series...
Its developers perhaps just stole em... "borrowed" the "lense" idea from "The Room".
Also I need more games like this, I've already played through all 4 "The Room" games and both "House of da Vinci" games. Anyone got any recommendations?
The Escaper is free afaik, it's also quite good, not as graphically impressive but a fun play nonetheless with some challenging puzzles.
Obduction is also somewhat similar (more Myst-like). If you like Quern and Myst, you might also like Riven and The Painscreek Killings.
