Bell puzzle bug? Kitchen

I am ringing the bells as described in hints and in guide play through. When I try to do the double triangle It all erases and I have to start over. It does not stay highlighted through the procedure.

Hmmm. Worked fine for me, but I didn't do anything more than look at the bells with the spy glass. Do you have all of the handles set? Maybe try taking your time when you ring them.

I have the same problem, bell 1 (right) is fine, bell 2 (middle) is fine, then I ring bell 3 (right again) and it resets.
Edit: I reinstalled the game, now it lets me pull bells 3 and 4 in quicker succession so I can pass this puzzle.

You need to be quick and ring it two times in succession but the animation of the handle slow downs everything, it took me a couple of tries to understand when to click again.

Thank you, Minted Lady, hfos, and DarkMos. I got through it. I did them same thing as hfos and did the bells a little faster.

Can someone post a video of this? I can't get the timing right. All the ones on youtube I found have people pulling two bells at once from a different version of the game. Will try for a bit more.

You have to pull it down wait it to go back up again and the literally second its pulled up again just pull it down as fast as you can again for twice triangle or circle

You have to let go of the mouse button after the first pull, move up then click-drag again. Keeping the mouse button clicked causes it to fail.
