We've fixed the following issues with Updates -

Patch 1 Fixes - Feb 16th 2021

BUG - Videos not playing on Windows 8.1 (Curiosity Room Eyeball bug).
BUG - Fade issue entering the Kitchen/Ending when playing with a Turkish version of Windows.

Patch 2 Fixes - Feb 18th 2021

BUG - Gargoyle spinners in the Garden spinning forever/glitching out and forcing player to restart the chapter.
BUG - Steam Achievements not popping up in game.
BUG - Level complete messages weren't displaying correctly on Turkish language Windows.
BUG - On high refresh monitors, the constellation puzzles in the Foyer would sometimes lock up making the puzzle difficult to solve.
IMPROVEMENT - Tweaked the appearance of the glass panels in the Foyer box to make them more obvious.

Known issues blocking progression

Some players using Windows 10 are experiencing the Curiosity Room Video bug. If that's the case it's likely that the Microsoft Media Foundation is not installed on your machine, or a newer version of Microsoft Media Foundation is required.

To install the necessary libraries please install the Media Feature Pack from - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/result.aspx?q=Media+Feature+Pack - for your version of Windows.

please fix this i have no life i was waiting for this one for so long i ve played first 3 games on my phone when i was in high school im 23 now i love you guys pls help

i found a well in the study room and place it in its spot after that another room appeard i used my glass to enter it but black screen same problem. I am using win 10 home single language as a Turkish so i cant change it to English so that simple. Help Plz fix

Just found another workaround -

You can alter a couple of files manually to work around this problem -
Open the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Room Old Sins\OldSins_Data\StreamingAssets\AssetBundles\Windows (Yours may be different if you have a non-standard install folder), and rename the files kit_main_scene and kit_main_scene.manifest to kıt_main_scene and kıt_main_scene.manifest (note that the "i" character in "kit" is slightly different).

We'll be working on a proper fix soon!

im updated my windows to lastest version. problem solved with kit to kıt solition thank you.

Surprisingly, while trying this method, the attempt actually caused the game to Hang even earlier (on a black screen) than it normal. Usually I'm locked on screen (Cannot rotate the camera) in the kitchen, I can click on the eyepiece and the items in the inventory but the items doesn't do anything just the SFX.

Not game-breaking but there was a bug, when the panel flips down to the Kitchen to give you the artifact, I selected the bottom handle first, it didn't move but I could hear the noise of metal moving, when I zoomed out the cage was open already and I just had to touch the upper handle and the container with the artifact fell down, didnt have to do anything with the bottom handle again. Don't know if its an animation issue or what.
