This is more of a trend to make these threads. Not really beneficial to anyone or anything.
I strongly suspect a lot of the remaining people have decided to grind their un-played classes to the level cap before quitting. If that is the reason there might be a big step down in players as I sort of expect psyker to be most people's last class.
Obviously I dont have data, but i'd say I'm seeing distinctly fewer zealots these days, and the vets distinctly seem to mostly be max level and grinding for materials and penances.
Just got a sweet new eviscerator on my last mission last night that I'm dieing to try out.
yikes. go touch grass
I go back to VT2 and man, the maps are plentiful, varied and beautiful, they have a little story associated with each map, the character perks are actually good, crafting is good and doesn't take forever to grind up for, three new weapons every match, much better, more likeable characters with funny voicelines, much fewer loading screens, more equipment pickups and they're actually useful, unlike this useless healing cloud.
I am just dumbstruck how they messed up everything they got right in VT2. Absolutely everything. The combat is still there I suppose, but where in VT2 some careful blocking, dodging and positioning allows you to negate all damage outright, Darktide has to way to escape taking constant damage.
Darktide is a failure beginning to end. Vermintide 2 is where it's at. That will always be the successful Fatshark game. This game is sadly completely hopeless.
