kidding, that does suck, most likely it's a loading time issue.
When you connected to the game, it was still going, but they managed to all die whilst you were loading.
This is seriously getting old, for an issue that should've been fixed in beta tbh. x.x
- When joining an ongoing match for the *first time*, gain a minimum of 50% health (full health on last wound on T5) and 5 seconds of complete immunity and ability to walk through mobs. Any action other than moving or looking around will cancel that immunity.
- Nobody wants to join a game with 1hp remaining due to no fault of their own, they want to play, not alt+tab and watch YT.
- The 5 seconds of immunity is enough to get your bearings and reset your position if you happened to spawn in the middle of a firepit or surrounded by 50 elites.
- Because these bonuses only apply to new joiners, it prevents exploits from people who alt+f4 in the middle of a match. For that matter, they should fix that exploit so the bots and players share the same state: If a player leaves when downed, the bot will likewise be downed in the same spot with the same amount of remaining health. If the player rejoins after the bot died, the player is now dead and has to wait for rescue.
- When a match ends before you joined in, skip the defeat screen entirely and give us a popup notification of what happened along with an option to 1) re-queue for last selected mission (with QP any mission will do), or 2) return to the hub, directly next to the mission board terminal.
- This one is self-explanatory.
It's not hard at all.And yeah I have it on a M2 SSD and the load times are awful.
I don't want bloody 20 plasteel and 500 dockets...
