Skins that are not in the store

How to get skins that were in the store before, but are no longer available? Or should we just wait and they will appear again?

Yes, they are on rotation and every two weeks there is either a new rotation, or old cosmetics rotating in.

To first part of that question. You can't. We don't know if the one you want ever gets rolled back.

This is why people were complaining about this micro-transaction. It's relying on FOMO (fear of missing out) to get people to buy them on an impulse. They say its a complex issue but VT2 lets you buy all cosmetic whenever you want.

It's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practice, they'll probably roll them back eventually when they think theres enough player that will buy them.

I assumed something similar.... It would be a shame if this turns out to be 100% true. Let's hope for the random rotation that the player in front of you was talking about

The way FatShark handles the shop is my biggest complaint with Darktide right now.

Ironically, there’s some older items I’d love to purchase now that I can pair them up with some of the newer cosmetics, so they’ve lost out on those sales. :P

Hopefully the items you want return to the shop one day, or hopefully Fatshark just releases the full catalog of items.

I too, just today I was going to take an outfit for the Preacher... But I was unpleasantly surprised. A completely new skin disappeared from the store today.

It's not real fomo if it comes back. Just be patient and wait 4-5 months and it'll rotate back in. You missed it this time, but you probably won't miss it next time.

It's not real fomo if it comes back. Just be patient and wait 4-5 months and it'll rotate back in. You missed it this time, but you probably won't miss it next time.

It's still FOMO. It coming back or not isn't what makes something FOMO. It's about instilling a sense of urgency to buy it asap when it's available out of fear of "missing out."

The items eventually come back, but it still encourages people to buy it asap as soon as it drops so you don't miss it again. It's not typical FOMO, but it's really kinda splitting hairs at this point.
