Fortunately for you, what you wish for (hairstyles) already exist. Look at the mods,
this is lore accurate imperial woman
all praise the emperor
nothing against that. that is 40k after all. But I think my psyker could look a bit more ladylike for instance
Gone are the days when 40k had good looking characters, now it's just man or man with "female" features.
You can't expect a good looking hair, in fact the hair we got in game barely can be called hair, some are so bad that are just filler to say "well at least we got 10+ hairstyles even if only 2 are even acceptable looking".
Sad times. Well, one of the reasons i don't play anymore, lack of meaningful customization and aestetic.
There is not a lot of people paying attention to whatever your character is wearing, particularly not their hairstyle. It is a 40k game, not the sims.
In other game forums than steam, the people who buy skins are called are different name.
Lazy modders.
Sadly I doubt they will add them unless they are sold in the shop… perhaps they would sale more hat options if they had proper heads to go with them though…I appeal to capitalism Fatshark.
I know that you see the characters in the loading screen. I just forgot because i have a mod that turns them into shrek clones. So (asuming you you buy the skins for others to see it) all the money you spend of your skins is just amounting to my seeing shrek in the morningstar.
Lots of folks value "self-expression" in multiplayer games, so dressing up their character to look a certain way is important to them. :)
This self-expression loses all meaning if other players can't see it, so using mods/code so only the local-player can see the modded cosmetic really isn't a satisfying solution for them.
Like i mentioned above, i personally do not see the skin they use, i just see shrek or whatever other mod i installed. And even if i did not use mods, i would not pay atention to whatever skin they used, or forget 2 mins after.
I still do not understand why someone would pay money for this. No offense.
2) Different strokes for different folks. Some players see value in cosmetics. You don't. There's nothing wrong with that - everyone's different. :)
