The emperors fading light - just bad design
Every failed havoc run ends the same - gunned down in the back from 100% to 0% in half a second cause "gunners shoot faster".
You basically are forced into dome spam as a psycher when this variation comes and it annoys me. This is so boring.

it's lazy design, if you can even call that.
Gunned down in the back? Sounds like you were running away from the enemy. At least saves the commissar a bolt shell.
This is why I stack gunner damage resistance. The dingdongs balancing this game think that giving them a turncap fixes their issue b/c you can dodge them, but level design, distance, suppression, and monster closets farting out of crowd of them say otherwise.

It's easy to prove how incompetently designed gunners are when you ask high level players if they'd rather fight a boss or a horde of gunners.
Dodge and use cover. Tag. There is also a new event for variety.
