rending is armor piercing. most weapons do full damage vs. unarmored and less damage to all other enemy types. rending is applied as an additive multiplier

so if your weapon does 0.5x damage vs. flak armor, a 10% rending boost will add 0.1 to this, and you will do 0.6x damage instead. rending is most effective when your weapon does very little damage to armor by default - if you do 0.1x damage vs. carapace, that 10% rending will double your damage.

suppression happens when ranged enemies are shooting at you and your aim starts to wobble.

suppression adds up over time based on how many enemies are shooting at you. regular riflemen cause a little bit of suppression, gunners cause a lot, and ogryn reapers cause the most. it many rifleshots, a short burst from one or more gunners, or just 1 reaper to fully suppress your aim.

being immune to suppression is very helpful while trading shots at long range, but does not make as much difference if you are trying to engage at close range

thanks for the info.
i just have 1 more question.
when I get shot by a shotgunner I get pushed back. so If I have Suppression Immunity that won't happen anymore????

No, pushback is a different value from suppression. You will only get pushed if the attack hits you, but suppression also works when the bullets just pass through the air near to you.
Suppression on enemies works a bit different. If you shoot at a normal ranged enemy and miss, they will flinch a bit, but if you hit them just once and don't kill them, they will actively seek cover.

Yeah, push back is different. Suppression causes your player character to be unable to aim ranged attacks properly.

Look down the sights of a gun while youre not being shot at and notice the aim. Then look down the sights as a dude is shooting at you. It will be a lot jumpier. Suppression immunity makes that go away.
