If you mean the assassination bosses, they go down faster to melee so its one of the few times a vet should be hoard clearing IMHO.

Get a psyker with the dmg boost to allies when they brain boost. Get the vet with bolt and have unyielding on it. Have all dmg boost feats, the feat that gives dmg the farther you are, deadshot, and ogryn/boss dmg boost.

Tbh if you want a boss slayer get a zelly with thunder hammer.

Another good pick is the head hunter the three round burst. Better for shooters. Easier to land headshots on PO and CS. The only problem is aiming and it is a three round burst so it takes a little longer to unload clip than bolter simply holding down the trigger.

Bolter imo. Plasma is also going to do damage to bosses but doesn't have nearly the same burst power the bolter does.

I prefer Bolter with Pinning Fire+Shattering Impact. You can mag-dump most of anything away and combo with Sustained Fire(Lv.30 skill) for double dump. I think you can 50-70% T4 boss HP in 1 combo and you can use Sustained Fire for panic reload.
