You can block people via the social menu in the game so you won't have to deal with it again.
Reminder not to take computer games or 40K too seriously as they are meant as fun pastimes.
cheers
really though this game has some toxic players but most people don't say ♥♥♥♥ because they are afraid it might hurt the games future....except not because everyone keeps saying there is no such players said player are now rampant because they feel like they can get away with being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 24/7
shoulda just been calling out peoples BS and nip it before it got bad but now its too late every 10 games some prick joins a game ruins things for everyone (or just you) then pulls some toxic ass BS leaving everyone (or just you again) feeling defeated
worst experience is still the time where i pulled my weight in auric damnation while this guy complained about my kill count not being uber amazing (the team was running a lot of op hoard clear gear that round) and had decided multiple times to just lure enemies to me before stealthing away
maybe i was terrible but i stayed with the team and managed to clutch a save
each member of the team had died off before reaching the part of the map where we needed to move cryo rods
i was down to little to no health as i took the elevator down while hearing him insult me over the mic repeatedly about how bad i was....and then i revived him and the other with one good voice of the emperor
he complained and complained and complained but we made it to the evac
happy ending right?
58 minutes of my time being spent well right?
the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stopped in a hall way a few feet from evac and i defended him while at that time thinking he was AFK
defending the guy that gave me a headache for 58 minutes of my life
i was kicked from the game
on evac
some people are just that toxic and petty man
And this is why we need bots. What a colossal piece of vaguely human shaped ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage.
Jesus Christ man I'm so sorry for that. I don't believe I've ever felt so much contempt for any single individual in my entire life, and he's up against some stiff competition.
Reminds me of the time I was kicked from a wow of warcrap dungeon, as the healer, during the final boss fight. Mind you this was on baby normal difficulty, not super duper ultra heroic +25 or anything. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tank kept trash talking how I wasn't doing enough dps for the entire run. Yes because it's my job to dps AND heal your stupid ass. If I wanted to dps I would've selected another role, idiot.
but the worst of all is most good player will only die for disablers or barrels and it feels bad.
another thing it feels bad is revive your teamates 7, 8 ,12 times and when you go down the run is over.
some maps have a difficult/unfair final event and is a problem beacuse the games go from 20 to 45+ minutes and it feels bad losing at the end.
about a afk people i dont really care in quickplay i just go alone and can defend for myself, not only that the game will kick you for being afk in 5-10 minutes so you dont spend time with reports.
in havoc is not usually a problem because you need to form a party before going to play , but i have seen raguequit in havoc and that is unaceptable.
in any case there is too many frustation in this game and team should stikc together after each mission for some coop spirit.
though that feels a stab-in-the-back because i remember everyone on the discord being cool and had seemingly infinite patience with newbies, i can't totally ignore what i've been seeing.
Nope, it isn't, and to answer the OP - it's because we live on planet earth and that's just how it is here, and not just in PVE games but in virtually everywhere you turn. Bravo, my kin!
