Officio Assassinorum is a must for future DLC/Expansion Classes
If you're going to fully commit to only Imperium classes, you absolutely have to include the 4 assassin types as playable classes :apex_pathfinder:. There so distinct from a gameplay perspective and are perfect to build really unique classes:

1) Vindicare - focus on sniping and quick scoping
2) Callidus - more female representation, and focus on melee and quick attacks
3) Culexus - anti-psyker, his focus could be similar to madness builds in Elden Ring
4) Eversor - jack of all trades with focus on engineering/traps

There's close to no cross-over on existing classes or even with ones from Vermintide in terms of gameplay.

No idea who all of them are, but the more the better!

Eversor class focused on engineering and traps? I think you misunderstood what an Eversor specializes in...
Think berserker whirlwind of close quarters slaughter. Somewhat similar to Bardin's slayer class in VT2.

Unlikely, they dont fit with the convict group and power level wise they are not much short of space marines

Power level is going to be wack regardless, you're going to be killing Chaos Space Marines, possessed CSM, Daemons, etc in the thousands which from a normal 40k plot perspective would be impossible.

Also, this can be easily solved by making the assassins interns/apprentices/adepts from a story perspective.

Clearly you are new here so will sum up some info, all characters are convicts, fatsharks goal is to show normal humans, if they is any chaos space marines, full demons or such they will be bosses not the rank and file you are killing, so any powerful classes are out this is everything from assassins and space marines of any level to xenos

"Not much short?" I'm pretty sure, lore-wise, a single assassin (at least one from those main four cults) is much, much stronger than a Space Marine. They definitely wouldn't fit with the game's vision.

Much, much stronger? Not really. It all depends on the situation. A Space Marine is far better suited than a Callidus or Culexus assassin for fighting through hundreds of opponents in brutal close combat battles. They're assassins, not warriors. Only the Eversor would give an Astartes a run for his money in terms of raw slaughter power in these specific situations.

They are way to powerful to be included in this game (They often are sent to kill Chapter Master and even a Primarch once, though some say the Primarch one was flawed)

The only official assassin unit I'd see would be a Sicarian adept, which is an Assassin clave made by the Inquisition

Hmm is it it not more common to see a death cult assassin with the Inquisition?

Well yes but no, Death cults aren't really an organization, they are more similar to Local versions of the Imperial Truth

But the Ordo Sicarius is made by the Inquisition for the Inquisition

So I was right you do see more the Death cult(s) or others with the Inquisition then Officio Assassinorum...

Oh that yes, I misunderstood your comment

I get and "know" that the "crew" of a Inquisition can vary from Inquisition to Inquisition Radical or not + then there is the part what brand of the Inquisition we are talking about

A bit like the Death Watch they do from time to time work with or for the Inquisition and yet I don't think we gonna see them or something like that as something you can play in-game...
Heretical_Cactus Jun 17, 2022 @ 4:18am
Well the Deathwatch is part of the Inquisition

Militant Arm or Ordo Xenos iirc, so that mean they are way easier to call upon than other group for an Inquisitor, but yes not playable since those are SM and they were confirmed to not be in the game (As playable, nothing was yet said as enemy and NPC)

Assassins are to powerful, too reare and valuable and also way too brainwashed to be used in the situation we are in.
