Ordo Ingots & Contracts Obsolete?

So I was doing my weekly contracts out of habit, and upon completing them I realized hey... I don't need to do these anymore now that rank IV blessings coming up in the Melk shop isn't one of the main ways of collecting them. In fact, I don't need to collect them at all anymore.

And the sad realization that with that, the weekly contract system is effectively obsolete now. Is there some other use for it that I'm not seeing after all this time, other than collecting rank IV blessings?

Melk is completely useless since the Mastery Upgrade aside from gambling for Curious.

Melk lets you get 500 power stuff without finishing a mastery track, but has basically 0 use beyond that and the aforementioned curio gamble. So... kinda? Nowhere near as important as he used to be, at least.

Melk is only good for new players who doesnt have resources and mastery yet to empower their weapons to 500

Yea, seems to be rather pointless. I've used it only to buy few weapons to increase mastery. Even then on weapons I do not use so... Hard find any reason for it other than collecting shiny but useless coins. Only when starting fresh Darktide I can see some benefits for some time at least.

Imagine if they let us convert Ordo Dockets to Aquila?

A simpler option would be to let people purchase progress/points on the penance pass with the Dockets.

Would be cooler if we could use the Penance Points to buy Cosmetics

Melk could just be someone handing you out Quests and you get some basic Ressources, Cosmetics, Weapons or so from it

Imagine if all of the updates were free instead of being paid DLCs like in Vermintide 2? Oh, wait, you don't have to imagine that because that's where the cosmetics money is being put towards.

Everyone who complains about wanting free stuff seems to be the kind of people who care most about how they look in a video game.

PS. There is no "penance pass", there are only penances and paying to progress that is closer to what a real battle pass is. Crap idea, in other words.

they should have a cosmetic grindable to melk that's just stacking purity seals on your character and weapons. so you can know the emperor's warriors by how encumbered with scrolls and red stamps they are. eventually you'll just be the mummy.

Funny enough Melk can be a good source of emergency plasteel / diamantie if you want to dump your ingots on his oranges.

Melk sells 500 rating weapons saving you having to upgrade from 370 to 500 for a lot of resources.

Ressources aren't a problem anymore since the Mastery Upgrade and while the Weapons are 500 that doesn't mean their Stats are perfect and since the Update Brunt sells more perfect Stats Weapon than you get from Melk, since the Update i never once had to gamble again and i got all the Weapons i want for all four Classes in like 2 Days after the Update just from Brunts normal Shop and im swimming in Ressources; can just buy like 100 Weapons and up them all and still have some left over
