Does XP do anything past level 30?
I followed a suggestion to get xp boost on relic to reach 30 faster
Now i can finally ditch the relics i think

Does the level of the relic influence player damage? or do i just need them for the passives?

No, but you can add TrueLevel mod, which is kinda cool

Leveling past 30 is the same exp as needed from 29 to 30.

When searching for havoc party i can see their true level and obviously this is important because i would literally wait for a 3- or 4-digit player to apply

Like 99% of the parties i apply for invite me because who doesn’t want a level 4000 zealot or 3000 psyker.

I’m pretty sure the majority of people just accept anyone who tries to join for havoc

True, most players don't use mods (fact).

However had a gander a while ago and it is nifty for seeing how many times you over-levelled personally. I do understand why that is only available as unofficial mod.

It makes you more important than everyone else.
Obviously most people wouldn't like this but I've always felt there should be a crazy amount of XP needed to earn "Extra" Points. I've always felt like maybe 1-4 extra talent points would be really cool and for those of us that play the game constantly it would definitely help us out and reward us with something different for our loyalty/game time

I play a lot of MMOs and usually MMOs have this kind of system where you are capped but can still slightly get more but the grind is extreme. I honestly wouldn't mind that in Darktide. But as it stands there is literally no reason to ever play once you get past 30 on any character.

Relic/Red Weapons would alleviate this to some extent as well if we could Grind our perfect/unique weapons already but we can't do that either. There really is a content drought in this game because the stupid Devs want to keep pushing Vermintide 2 for some reason

The only problem with it that even just one extra talent point carries a lot of weight in the current skill tree. If you gave me two extra talent points some of the builds I have go from pretty strong to outright beyond broken. Especially with Zealot.

(lol I know that's why I want it. I was specifically thinking of Zealot builds where 1-2 extra points would turn me into a God. shhhh)

(plus I have 2000 hrs in this game. I enjoy the combat a lot but I still want something else to work for. Grinding Penances just for Cosmetics is not really 'content')

Nope. Once you maxed out, it does nothing for you, which is a pathetic design for this game.
