99% of the time, team of randoms get wiped by 1 of 3 things, all of which can be avoided by a single Veteran;
- Snipers
- Mutants
- Trappers
Vet with a good bolter or headhunter auto gun can make the worst of threats disappear instantaneously
veteran with pinnig fire Boltgun and Glory Kill. with damage on Unwieldy or Unarmoured and Carapeace. with the Top level end skill (Full reload on ult), grenade spam is great for carrying.
I'm not as good with Ogryn as I am with the other 3 Operatives though I'll admit, and I'm probably better with Psyker than I am with Veteran although not by much.
Zealot if your team died. Disablers are your only problem, maybe ranged but that depends on build.
Psyker if you want to have easy ways to deal with everything. But you maybe will die in one second from one mistake.
I've enjoyed better luck with carrying with ogryn than the others, but I think really it's any class you're good with and have good gear on.
I find Ogryn the hardest to carry with also. The simple reason why is that Ogryn's ranged weapons are either terrible for killing Specials, terrible for killing shooters, or extremely ammo inefficient. All of them without fail take forever to reload too.
In a pinch situation you only find yourself with one clip of ranged weaponry, plus your boxes (if you have any) and then your melee weapon. That's all.
It's just easier to get finished off by a disabler or by shooters hidden among the trash than it is for the other characters.
