Beasts of Nurgle are generic cannon fodder used by heretics as bullet sponges, both on the tabletop and in Darktide.
They are nothing like a Great Unclean One.

Four man suicide squads consisting of barely stable psykers and extra special Ogryns aren't going to be able to kill a Greater Daemon Host. It's already stupid enough what we can supposedly kill in a mission.
W40k Darktide isn't Lore accurate, and shouldn't be, because what we want is fun.
Which is why Nurgle was a dumb choice for them to go with in this game to begin with. Should have been Tzeentch.
