legit way to farm good curios
I've been very unlucky in that quest. After the match, I see a curio maybe once in a blue moon, and it's always trash. In the shop, maybe I found one curio that was worth buying. Is there any legitimate way to farm those?

melk is bad it giving good curio drops its just wasting points it used to be easyer but if you keep your gear score around 1760 - 2000 have the curio drops on your existing curios while checking the shops is is bet best way to do it.

gear you get after a mission isn't total rng it takes into account of how well you did and gear score. i'm almost certain melk drop stats have changed he has a super low drop rate for 400+ curios ever since the gear rework i've only seen 2 curio above 400 across my 4 classes in the past 4 months

I gambled on Sire Melk's curios for the first time today. Out of 15 curios, 5 of them were 400+. Two 410s that had +17% toughness.

I must be the unluckiest man alive. I spent like 200k+ on gambling with Melk, and I got 300+ trash.

Brunt's shop resets every hour, just farm there
It's cheap and you can get your +17% Toughness, +21% HP or +3 Stamina with your regular currency that you earn by completing missions.

Wait really? Phew... I've no words for that. I got everything for every character with no more than idk 5-10k spent total. Of course I was only missing a few select curio types for each but still.

The cheap way:
Login every hour and check the curios in the shop. Every two weeks you will likely find a maxed out HP or Toughness.

The expensive way:
Save up 50,000 Ordos Ingots and spam Melk to see what he hands out. The RNG seems to favor spamming all at once as the game cycles through variables when purchased back to back compared to smaller purchases over time. While you are saving these up, be sure to check the bottom item in Melk's weapon shop each day as it is often a curio.

The grind way:
Farm Auric Damnation with curios that increase your chance to earn a curio as a reward.

Fatshark nerfed max curio drop rates a bit with the Havoc update, particularly +17% toughness, as it is arguably the best way to counter Emperor's Fading Light modifier.

Are you doing it at like level 20 or something? You should be getting like 380's at a bare minimum at level 30.
One, somewhat amusing option, I haven't seen suggested yet is to just run a Martyrdom Zealot build because wound curios are wound curios. :holly_happy:

That just made me think of a bet that some of the nearby sentries / guards would do between each other. One would say to another -
"How much do you want to bet that Melk will say something completely snide and condescending to the next operative?"
Another would reply "I ain't being played. That's 100% a given..." =P

i read this as lgbt way to farm good curios and now i'm disappointed

All you can do is check the weapon's shop and melk again and again and again. Eventually something good will show up.
Trekka Jan 16 @ 5:41pm
The hourly shop has 17% toughness curios somewhat often. I haven't had a problem getting those on my characters. The +3 stamina and +21% health curios are going to be a pain to get since they have to be a perfect roll. 400 level +3 Stamina curios are fake and actually give +2 in-game.

Melk is just pure luck. You might get exactly what you need or you might just waste 10k bucks for nothing.

The +curio find curios are pretty useless since they actually only give +1% chance each (+20% of 5% base). So with all 3 you'd have an 8% chance and get 1 curio every 12-13 games...
