Well, 2 years after release the game still has less content and unique maps than V2 and is still plagued by myriad of bugs and server issues while devs are too busy autofellating themselves because they gave us one new part of an already existing map. Go figure.

It's a tide game, they sustain 5k ish playerbases consistently.

You are also looking at a dead time, we had 8k to 10k for the last weeks because of the patch.

We used to have less than 5k daily peaks this year in the lowest point, now these daily peaks are around 10k.

The reason why it's not 10k 24/7 is because we live on a rotating planet with time zones. With every single game, one time zone group always has the largest number of players and the daily peak player count comes from this.

Judging by the peak time, the peak is in the evening in Europe.

Are you new to gaming? It happens to almost all games. It booms it falls and only a few of the biggest games keep the high amount of players for a long time.
But that do not mean the game is dead, its not hard to find a game and someone to play with.
