I thought the same, I'm super introverted and dont like using my mic. But I got to havoc 40 without using it once. I placed into 18 and then beat about 15-20 missions just by joining random parties and also hosting my own if I couldnt find any, everyone was silent and just used text chat. Wasn't so bad. Give it a try
If you have no friends, you either don't play as a team player or are trying too hard to make friends, get a mic and just play for fun regardless if your team mates or dog trash or gods. You'll make more friends in a different game faster like MHW, or vt2.
""Sigma male" is an internet slang term used to describe a man who is independent, self-reliant, and stands outside of traditional social hierarchies" so aka an ahole that no one wants to play with. even if the name is used for satire its still pretty cringe
So don't make it difficult for a super small engaged community to find each other.
BS. Anybody can play in the mode. I've hosted nine Havoc 40 runs for complete strangers through the party finder (my first completion of it was through Discord though) to help them finish it.
But yeah, the mode really needs a quick play party matcher system. The only things such a system would change is cut down the time in between missions.
