Nope, welcome to why a majority of players refuse to play Havoc. You have to beat a Maelstrom difficulty mission before being able to use Dukanes terminal for Havoc mode on the ship. After that, you have to either host one yourself or request to join someone elses game

I get it, it’s a very stupid system which only ends up siloing players more and more, only to play a mode that’s just darktide with extra nerfs. Get the true level mod, I saw on another post saying that it supposedly also lets you see the level of people in the group finder so you can find the best group possible.

I thought the same, I'm super introverted and dont like using my mic. But I got to havoc 40 without using it once. I placed into 18 and then beat about 15-20 missions just by joining random parties and also hosting my own if I couldnt find any, everyone was silent and just used text chat. Wasn't so bad. Give it a try

That's what you do, via Party Finder. It's still random queue, with a few extra steps. If you don't want to make that minimum amount of effort, then I don't know if Havoc is for you.

The reason why it's set up this way is because Havoc's modifiers make is so that some builds underperform greatly. For example, if you don't have a Zealot with the middle aura on a mission with a Blight Spreads modifier, you're gonna have varying degrees of bad times from the chip corruption damage. Likewise, Pus-hardened skin modifier reduces ranged damage to some enemies greatly, making range-focused builds less viable. So you kinda have to cooperate to a small degree, therefore it doesn't work as well with solely random queue

If you have no friends, you either don't play as a team player or are trying too hard to make friends, get a mic and just play for fun regardless if your team mates or dog trash or gods. You'll make more friends in a different game faster like MHW, or vt2.

What's so difficult about it though? It is basically the same QP, just with "pre-made" group.

They need to add a quick play as well. The devs (well maybe they don't have live ops experience) should know that the higher the level, the smaller the player funnel.

So don't make it difficult for a super small engaged community to find each other.

BS. Anybody can play in the mode. I've hosted nine Havoc 40 runs for complete strangers through the party finder (my first completion of it was through Discord though) to help them finish it.

Why? This game isn't complicated and no comms are needed since pinging gives you everything you require

But yeah, the mode really needs a quick play party matcher system. The only things such a system would change is cut down the time in between missions.
