Thoughts about Havoc players.
Honestly, I am surprised how nice players are compared to the ones who play QP or auric. It's almost as if Havoc is played by an entirely different fanbase, it's that much enjoyable.
Hope it stays that way.

its small part of the community that is invite only and the skins you unlock at max rank are great looking....people are sadly just playing nice so they can get the skins and some free resources every week

don't play nice then don't get what you wanted simple as

This is how it was at launch. Give it time the egos will grow.

i helped 3 groups get to 40 from around 20 and we did the insane a couple of times during it. Amazing experience, im shocked to see almost everyone playing support builds (chorus/shouts) and doing great teamplays :)

Yeah, I’m going to join the discord finally simply because finding groups through the party finder is a miserable experience.

basically world of warcraft before connected realms
Small community and if you act like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you'll get a reputation and get blocked by folk. Get enough blocks and good luck finding games.
So it pays to be a decent member of community

Same, I haven't got much time to play Havoc, currently on lvl 25, I've only lost one run because one dude left at the start. It feels like playing a completely diffirent game, nobody dies on first horde, nobody cathes every dog and trapper with their face, nobody runs forward, aggroes a crusher train, dies and ragequits, etc. This is unreal!

Only takes like five Hours to get a Match, really amazing experience so far - spend more time sending out Requests or waiting for people than actually playing.

Boss. 💪

I've not played much, but my overall experience has been nice.

Only one random game I did via party finder (not Discord), had 3 players who seemed to not understand Havoc at all. Just rushed into the open and died from Gunners over and over. By the end of the game, it was just me and 1 other as 2 left. We still got it done and the last guy was so proud of it. :heart_eyes_yeti:
I mostly plan on playing havoc with afriend to get the skins, but yeah! The few players I've met recently have all been really good, and pretty pleasant.

I think one of the other things that is keeping people more civil is you can't just rage quit the match and join another if things don't go your way.

Plus the entire mode is pretty much you checking your ego at the door and doing your assigned job. Some Zealots with Chorus are ending up with the lowest damage numbers in a group but are more important than any DPS focused build.
don't worry, it's temporary. pretty soon the sweatier auric players will come in and start grinding their teeth over every little thing while playing like they're blind because they have "meta builds".

Havoc has its criticisms not worth going over. The reason why people are more tempered is because they are locked in with a do or die scenario, paired with being around with better players that will actually respond to your needs. Can't tell you the times I have to hold in snarky comments because I can see my team wants me to get disabled or die. I can pick these piles of trash up but they'll leave me for dead because they're full of themselves. Fantastic, the famous "selective co-op for thee, but not for me." mentality. Once players are held accountable and made level headed with equally skilled players, the environment is far less frustrating.

The only time I have problems with players are when they are selectively choosing to be idiots. Aka, me watching them prioritize themselves, when a basic synergy could be taking place or when an ally is downed right next to them. When players won't move forward to spawn ambients when very little is holding them back. Pair this with holding down m1 on their guns shooting barrels AND poxbursters? Oh gee I'm pissy? I wonder why flamer/purgatus spammer #5382 that chooses to actively grief, and consciously sitting back with a weapon that requires close range to get full effect on. Only time those weapons get fall off is against Crushers that's about it combined with you need to be kiting if it's a monster that's about it. Best part is when I'm playing my third most played class, Zealot I have Chorus up and they're just glancing at the pretty warp butterflies then tell me that "I'm rushing" with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2H melee (Indig Crusher,Relic,TH,etc) while they're using dueling sword/combat blade! No, any sensible player would not be sitting out in the open providing the perfect opportunity to let even the most squishy ass to go all out, and I'm not going to run back since I'm already in a prime position to push! I wish they removed "meh loot" it's such a 200 hour player problem that got absolved with the crafting rework. Team should split a reasonable distance in duos, look at the loot and tag what is needed takes about thirty seconds.

Havoc players aren't selfish loot gremlins like inexperienced players are QP, they have the challenge right in front of them pair that with a decent/good team and that's how much more enjoyable it gets. There is just this catharsis if people know how to play the game, won't ♥♥♥♥♥ at you or predominantly judge you if you show any kind of ambition to move forward. Was rushing ahead, team asked for help with back/side spawn rager pack, I just went back because I was made aware of a problem. Do your role, do your job, play like an individual in your team, it's just how the dream works.
